Crossroads of Twilight

Crossroads of Twilight USA

This was probably the most boring of the series. Once again the middle was boring and the ending had a big cliff hanger. However, the cliffhanger  was very confusing. I didn’t understand what was going on in the last chapter and why it was needed. Suddenly something happened that didn’t make sense. I realize everything i’m saying doesn’t make sense. But that’s cause the end of the book didn’t make sense. I feel like a lot of this book was not needed.

One Response to Crossroads of Twilight

  1. The first time I read it, I thought it was a complete waste of time, because I had waited two whole years to find out what happened to some characters, and none of the cliffhangers were resolved.

In my most-recent reread, however, this was actually one of my favorites in the series. The political intrigue is extremely intense and full of depth– provided you do not read the book expecting to find action and resolution. Approaching this book with the right mindset really does wonders in appreciating the book.

The negative opinion is pretty rampant though… Knife of Dreams hiked up the action a bit after Jordan was shocked and quite upset at the fan backlash from Crossroads.
